A Sudden Good Break Is About To Happen!!
As we enter day 19 of our 21 day time of fasting and prayer, God has certainly been faithful to honor this time of humbling before Him and this morning the Holy Spirit impressed it upon my spirit that when we don't know the REVEALED will of God we have no basis for hope and expectation in any situation or circumstance we face.
Proverbs 23:18 says it best, " For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off." The latter part of verse 17 and 18 combined in the Message Bible says, "soak yourself in the Fear-of-GOD—
(vs.18) That’s where your future lies. Then you won’t be left with an armload of nothing."
Proverbs 24:14 says, "So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off." The latter part of verse 14 in the Message Bible says it like this, "... Get that (knowledge and wisdom from the Word) and your future's secured, your hope is on solid rock."
The end of our fasting is coming to an end in a few days and everything you and I are expecting SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF!! We have a reward from God coming and our hope and future is secured!
God's thoughts about each one of us as His children are good ones and they are thoughts of peace and prosperity and to give us an expected end of for our current situations and circumstances and life in general, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Proverbs 29:11 The Message Bible makes it plain and clear that God is in control and knows exactly what He is doing in our lives, "I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." Proverbs 29:11 (Message)
If you feel discouraged and heartsick over life's circumstances then cheer up because I believe that there is a "sudden good break" or a breakthrough about to turn your life around so don't ignore the Word that God has given you. Proverbs 13:12, 13 says, "Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around.
(vs.13) Ignore the Word and suffer; honor God’s commands and grow rich."
All is well Saints of God!!

Favor With God and Man
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3: 3-6
God has certainly been proving Himself on this fast and we have experienced the tremendous favor and good understanding in both God and man's sight! As we have trusted him with direction for the ministry and for His people, He has given us a Kingdom Connection that ONLY He could have put together in allowing us to meet a wonderful man of God who in turn put us in direct contact with his Bishop and his wife.
This man of God and his wife have been in the ministry for over 25 years with 3 churches and over 3,000 members. They ministered by phone to us and have committed to giving us all the resources and help we need in moving the ministry forward. Hallelujah!
Be encouraged as we take the final lap and week of fasting and prayer as I believe that God will (if he hasn't already) allow you to find favor and good understanding both in His sight and in the sight of men and women that could have come no other way but by a move and plan of God! Don't try to figure things out for as you trust in Him with all of your heart and as you acknowledge Him during this time of fasting and prayer I KNOW that He will give you clear cut directions in your situation.
5 Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
6 Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.
7 ¶ Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to GOD! Run from evil!

Day 11 Fasting: Unshakable and Assurance in Times of Trouble
As I meditate and reflect on God's presence and his awesomeness, God revealed in my spirit that no matter what comes and goes, we as His people will always be look after in times of trouble . As we continue to learn and trust God, He will fight our battles and give us the victory everytime.
Proverbs 24:15,16 says, "Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."
The Message Bible says it best, "Don’t interfere with good people’s lives; don’t try to get the best of them.
16 No matter how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people don’t stay down long; Soon they’re up on their feet, while the wicked end up flat on their faces.
Wow! What a Word of encouragement knowing that you 'can't hold a good man or woman down' no matter how hard you try! As we trust God, we become unshakable and assured at the salvation of our God! John 16:33 says,
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Of course, the Message Bible really brings it home,
33 I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world."
So be of good cheer today, the battle is not your own, it belongs to the Lord. Enter into His rest and resolve to be unshakable and assured while allowing God's word to be the final authority in your lives and in your situation.

Fasting and Prayer: Day 3
Well, it's Day 3 of our fasting and prayer vigil. I have been so excited at what God has already begin to do and anticipate greater things during the remaining time of our 21 day fast. God has impressed upon my spirit Isaiah 55: 6-8, 11
6 " Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
However, the Message Bible makes it crystal clear:
6 Seek GOD while he’s here to be found, pray to him while he’s close at hand.
7 Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking. Let them come back to GOD, who is merciful, come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness.
8 "I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work." GOD’s Decree.
11 So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.
God has promised us during this time of consecration and fasting that as we seek Him, He will be found of us and that we can't think the thoughts we think of regarding despair and hopelessness because if God said it, that settles it! God's Word to you and I has an assignment and that assignment can't be canceled until the job is finished, Praise God!!
So, hang in there and allow God's Grace to sustain and empower you during this fast and watch God show up and show out!!
